This is a set of 12 small porcelain plates produced by the Théodore Haviland factory in Limoges between the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Théodore Haviland has been a reference in the production and decoration of porcelain since the late 19th century. This particular set is a fine example of the care taken in its production, quality and durability. Despite its age, the gilding is in perfect condition and there are no chips on any of the pieces. The central motif of the decoration is a gilded, shaded monogram featuring the letters ‘LB’.
This is one of those pieces that is perfect as a gift or for yourself. The size of the plates allows them to be used as bread, dessert, appetiser or starter plates. An antique set that bears witness to the care and attention that has characterised Limoges production over the years.
